The stature of the surveying and geospatial profession in Washington, DC was recently enhanced by the launch of a bipartisan Construction Procurement Caucus in the U.S. Congress.
Prior to departing the White House on Jan. 20, then-President Donald Trump signed into law legislation that creates new business opportunities for land surveyors, as well as valuable public domain data for use by surveyors on projects.
Included in the plan is $100 billion for workforce development, which may assist in attracting the next generation of land surveying professionals and technicians.
